About Me

My name is Pauline Wong and I am a contract and freelance web and graphic designer. I am a 30 year old Canadian-born Chinese and I live in Edmonton, Alberta. I have been a web designer since high school, but a professional designer for seven years. Though I am mostly self-taught, I am currently completing the Web Design Certificate and Web Developer Certificate program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

As an independent designer, I work part-time from my home in Edmonton. That gives me the opportunity to set my own pace on a project to project basis according to each client's needs, and allows me to offer my services at affordable prices with no hidden costs.

Putting work aside, I am a huge anime and manga fan. I enjoy playing the piano, reading, shopping, and international travelling. My world conquest includes: Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, and of course various well-known destinations in the USA.

I deliver creative web design and development solutions that combine user-friendly design theory and strong visual communication. I specialize in hand-coded XHTML and CSS in accordance to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) web standards. My services are focussed on providing:
